A salon fit-out in Whalley
Kelly Hughes Hair & Beauty on Whalley’s high street came to us for new laminate flooring. A salon is a harder brief than a house: the floor takes constant foot traffic in one or two narrow routes, it gets wet, it gets swept several times a day, and it has to still look presentable to customers sitting in front of it for an hour at a time.
That job is a fair illustration of what we do for businesses in the Ribble Valley. Shops, salons, offices and cafés all need flooring chosen for how the space actually gets used rather than how it looks on a sample board.
Domestic work across the valley
Most of our Ribble Valley work is still houses, and a good proportion of it is wool and wool-blend carpet, natural-look LVT and herringbone. If you have a period property, or a cottage with uneven floors, it is worth us looking at it rather than guessing from measurements.
We also fit composite decking and artificial grass, which gets more enquiries in the valley than anywhere else we cover, usually for gardens that are too shaded or too sloped for a lawn to work.
